We will see one more calm, but overcast skies will remain throughout the day. Rain will hold off, allowing events to go on without interruption. We will be in the mid-70s, feeling seasonable, with lows in the 60s, and a slight uptick in the humidity.
Overcast skies and a few light showers will develop in the latter half of the day, as showers and a few storms move through the region. Most rain showers will be steady, but the heaviest rain will be overnight and into Sunday. Winds return from the southwest at 5-15 mph. Highs remain in the 70s and lows in the 60s, with muggy conditions.
Sunday is the day to watch for, with a First Alert Weather Day. Isaiah’s impacts will be inland in the US, thanks to heavy rainfall. Flooding will be the main issue, as high water could cause issues for poor-drainage areas. Thunderstorms will be embedded in the rain bands as Isaias moves along to ENC.
Showers will depart early Monday morning, then partly cloudy skies will filter in. More of the same will continue for the rest of the week. Highs will be in the 80s with overnight lows around the 60s.
